Leave the viewing with useful evidence.
- Record what you see and what you are told
- Identify costs and unanswered questions
- Assign the next checks to the right people
Use the checklist before you go
Complete the preparation tasks below for your next viewing. A checked box means you have prepared that task; it does not confirm the property’s condition, ownership or suitability. Download the checklist to keep your progress, then use a separate copy for each property.
Your viewing preparation
Tick the preparation tasks you have completed. This records your planning, not a property’s legal or technical approval. Nothing is saved when you leave or reload this page.
Keep observations separate from assurances
Record what you saw, what the seller or intermediary said and what a professional still needs to check. For example, seeing a wall mark is an observation; an explanation of its cause is a statement that may need investigation. Ask permission before taking photos or recordings.
Finish with a short decision note
- What fits: the features that meet your essential requirements.
- What does not: the compromises you would actually have to accept.
- What is unknown: the questions that could change your decision.
- Next action: the person to contact, the information needed and the agreed follow-up.
Use the same questions on the second visit
Return to the points that remain uncertain. Compare the answers with your original brief and ask the relevant professional to define any further checks. Our purchase coordination service can help organize that work; a viewing checklist is not a substitute for it.
Questions, answered.
Does completing this checklist approve a property?
No. It records preparation only. Legal and technical reviews are separate work carried out by the appropriate independent professionals.
Are my ticks saved?
No. Progress stays on this page only and resets on reload. Download your checklist before leaving if you want a copy.
