Come with questions. Leave with clarity.

An exploratory trip is a chance to test a possible life in Paraguay. Give yourself time for neighborhoods, ordinary errands and the conversations a property listing cannot answer.

Plan your exploratory visit
At a glance

A useful visit ends with a clearer next step.

  • An itinerary built around your priorities
  • Time for locations, properties and everyday errands
  • A record of what fits and what needs another look

Before booking flights

Check current entry requirements for your passport, the intended purpose of your trip and any transit countries. Review official travel information and suitable insurance. Confirm key appointments before buying inflexible tickets. Flight routes, schedules and prices should be checked directly with airlines for your travel dates.

A sample five-day rhythm

  1. Arrival and orientation: settle into your accommodation and review your priorities.
  2. Neighborhood comparison: visit a small selection of areas and test everyday routes.
  3. Selected properties: compare homes against the brief and record unanswered questions.
  4. Practical conversations: agreed appointments with relevant professionals or service providers.
  5. Second looks and decisions: revisit strong candidates and agree what, if anything, comes next.

This is an illustrative sequence, not a fixed package. Appointments, travel and your needs determine the actual itinerary.

Make the visit useful even if you do not buy

A successful outcome might be choosing a rental, narrowing the search to one area or deciding the timing is not right. Record the reasons. You do not need to make a purchase to justify a well-planned visit.

Adding another city

Encarnación and Ciudad del Este require their own travel and coordination plan. Agree the additional time, responsible partner and budget first. Avoid filling every day with movement if the purpose is to understand a place well enough to live there.

What to prepare

Bring your priority list, realistic budget, appointment confirmations and any documents specifically requested through the appropriate professional channel. Keep copies of important travel information. Do not bring sensitive originals solely because a generic checklist suggested them.

After the trip

Summarize the options, outstanding questions and the work needed before any decision. If you proceed, define a fresh scope for a purchase, rental or residency process. Exploration does not automatically authorize further paid work.

A few useful answers

Questions, answered.

Do you sell an all-inclusive travel package?

No fixed all-inclusive package is advertised. Coordination, transport, accommodation and professional services are individually agreed.

Should I buy during the first trip?

Only after the checks and advice appropriate to the transaction. A first visit can be entirely exploratory.

Your next step

Start with what matters to you.

Share your plans, your timing and the support you need. We use your brief to discuss a clear scope and cost before any work begins.
